The impact COVID-19 has had on us all is extraordinary. Its ramifications can be felt in almost every aspect of our lives, and it is thanks to a huge public effort and rapid developments in science that we are starting to see the end of the tunnel.
However, there is a long way to go. The backlog of surgery is growing and facilities are limited.

Take a VIRTUAL TOUR through our Surgical Units
The Eden Unit
A 24m2 theatre lies at the heart of our custom built, road legal Maxiflex HGV trailer
The Layout
The theatre lies at the core of the unit and is supported by a prep room and dirty utility to facilitate high volume surgical lists. Patients enter the unit via a covered, illuminated stairway or lift at the rear of the facility. On entering the unit, they are welcomed into a reception area with access to a disabled toilet.
There is a consulting room for private patient‐clinician discussions and examination before surgery.
A flexible space is also available for use as a patient discharge lounge or a private staff room for changing, eating and relaxing depending on your requirements.
The Enigma Unit has been designed and built in partnership with the wonderful Neat Vehicles, meaning the theatre is not only of high quality but most importantly, fully mobile and road legal.
Environment
The air handling unit, certified in accordance with HTM 03‐01 regulations, delivers 25 air exchanges per hour of HEPA filtered air to the theatre, which allows the safe delivery of a variety of daycase lists including cataract surgery.
Partners
A solution designed by surgeons, in collaboration with specialist vehicle technicians, and ready to be delivered to healthcare providers throughout the UK
